Overcharging a laptop battery

Solution
No, it won't damage it. If you usually use your laptop plugged in, you can just remove the battery and use the laptop without it- it'll extend the life of the battery. Your laptop will stop the actual charging process once the battery is fully charged, even if you leave it on for extended periods of time

No it wont. The battery will know that it is full and stop accepting as much of a charge. As long as it isnt a month, you wont do any damage to your laptop. For the longevity of the battery, just be sure to let it run completely down every once in a while.
