Solved! Packard bell easynote

I have a Packard Bell Easynote laptop and it will not boot up into Windows XP anymore.

I am not worried about keeping any of the stuff on it so thought by pressing the F11 key it would simply 'restore' itself to the factory settings.

However, when doing this is gets stuck on a screen saying 'No valid Partition has been found on your system' and it says to wait and it will try and create one. It then ends up in a loop with this screen just coming up again and again.

Any help or ideas would be really gratefully received.

Thanks so much

Alan

Hello aar2370;

The hard drive might might have failed.
Do you have any bootable CD or USB flash drives you can use to test?
