Solved! Panasonic viera TC-L42D30 not working

Hello all. I've been having this problem for about a month now. I am aware of the power light blinking once every 5-6 seconds. I have unplugged it for a while and gotten it to work but it seems like it needs to take a longer and longer time unplugged to get it to work for more than a few minutes and I did notice the right side of the tv got dim right before it powers off. Any idea what might be wrong and how much it might cost to fix either professionally or diy? My model is: TC-L42D30.

Fixing it professionally will cost you like a new and better TV.

Looks like capacitors / power supply have died. Replace the power board or blown up capacitors (soldering required).

Before getting something like this, be sure it´s the correct power model which was installed in your TV
