I was at the TRW swap met in So Calif today. There were many many new
Pansat 2500A's for sale from several vendors. How did they get so many? The
price was not bad $175.00. Is there a new model out?

I just bought one off eBay for less than that, $159 i think. Watching live newsfeeds as we speak on T6. Actually it's a fairly new
model as the 2300a was out before the 2500a. Both nice receivers, the 2500a has blind scan which is very nice when searching.

Probably more due to the number of foreigners we have in the Los Angeles area
wanting to see the Telstar 5 foreign language channels AND probably some amount
of people who know that these could be hacked for Dish Network reception (if
that hasn't been ECM'ed yet).

$175 is a RETAIL level price for this.
