My Laptop has a blank screen when booting. This problem is bad enough until you consider that MY LAPTOP BOOTS UP BY ITSELF...
The symptoms:
■ The laptop has a blank screen whenever it boots up.
■ The hard drive activity light doesn't come on except for a brief period when I first boot it up. (About 1 second and its green.)
■ The laptop boots up without me pressing the power button when connected to the power lead. This is after I maually shut it down because I can't shut it down through windows BECAUSE THE SCREEN DOES NOT TURN ON.
EEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I don't know what to do anymore and I would appreciate it if someone could just give some suggestions if anything. I am capable of opening it up but I am not sure how I would check if certain components are working or not. Thanks in advance for your help...
