pc boot issue

i recently insalled nvidia gtx 970 on my desktop pc.. everything is working fine but the only issue is that when i leave my computer running and its get in sleep mode and return and start it again it reboots instead of resuming windows.. anyone know why this is happening?

What operating system are you using?

Is your graphics card hooked up to your monitor because of the new hardware the issue might be compatability with other hardware and an update might be in order for some drivers

That has been happening to me lately........ When I installed my old card that problem went away.
It started when I updated the driver... http/www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
