Hello, I have a weird issue since one or two years but I guess maybe someone in the forum will have a clue of what's going on.
My PC is plugged into my TV (Vizio) via an HDMI port. When I want to play a game on the TV display, I switch to the HDMI port (#1 because it's the only one that offers 4k@60hz) and then the PC isn't detected. Then I switch to another HDMI port and then back to port #1 and then I see my desktop. I have then to troubleshoot audio device so the TV is detected as an output audio device. Then I can start my game and play. In the end, I can play on my TV but that cycling every time is tedious to say the least. My hypothesis is that the PC isn't detected as if the HDMI port was "sleeping" and it need to be wake up with electric current to work. And for that, it needs two hits on the HDMI port. If you have any ideas how to fix this, it would help enjoy my gaming PC way more. It's not a big issue, it's just tedious.
TV and GPU drivers are up to date
Thanks a plenty!
