PC Mic Issue

Hey Guys,
So recently after updating to windows 10 my pc stopped picking up my Bose Earbuds as a valid mic. I've attempted to go to recording devices and select it but its not there and it wont pick it up for some reason. It wont pick up the mic on my razer headset either, it just uses the built in one.

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the Sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound driver.
- Reboot your laptop once uninstalled and it should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
- If it will not install, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- After installing the latest driver make sure to set your default Mic again.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Recording Devices.
- If your Microphone is listed, right click on it and select Set Default.
- If all these will not work your last option would be to reinstall Windows.
