PC sound subwoofer issues

ok i have 2 main front speakers connected into my motherboard on the main port and these play fine, left/right surround ect. however I have a subwoofer as well plugged into my motherboards cs out/ subwoofer port and I can turn it all the way up for a rumble while in test but when i play actual videos or anything it doesnt work

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by checking if your sound settings is set to 2.1 mode so you'll have a sub-woofer working.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Playback Devices. Next is to right click on the default speaker and select Configure Speakers.
- Once opened and if you have 2.1 from the Audio channels click on it then click on Next until you've selected all the proper settings.
- Click Apply and OK once done with all the set up then test it again.
