Pesky Trojan

Here goes my first post. Trojens now a days are tough. This one ive encountered today has all the typical signs. Url redirects, blocks exe's, wont allow any antivirus software to update. Ive tried using malwarebytes, rkill, Superantispyware, online virus scanners are blocked aswell.

Ok, here's a little trick that just may outsmart the trojan. Find the file directory of your antivirus program, and find the main EXE of it. Since the antivirus programs are blocked from opening, but internet browsers are not, rename the main EXE to something like "iexplore.exe" or "firefox.exe" and then try to open it. I've seen this work in the past, and it may in this situation.

That is the virus. These types of viruses are usually in the Appdata folder. Go ahead and delete all of the folders from there that you have no idea what they are.

To view this folder, you need to have hidden files viewable.
