Philips Lx3600dD low volume when there is speech

I recently bought a Epson EB-X27 projector and connected it my Philipps 3600d home cinema
When i watch a movie and there is only speech i have to top up the volume.When there are sound effects i have to lower the volume because is
very loud.
The projector is connected to the home cinema through hdmi.
But since the home cinema doesnt have hdmi i connected them using an adapter hdmi to rca.
What can i do?

It is time to add a power woofer.

But the Philips home cinema has a woofer.
Do i need to buy another?
