Brand: Philips
Tv was working fine until i decided to update its software... I downloaded the software and unzipped it unto a thumb drive.. I turned the tv off with the remote and unplugged it from the wall. I inserted the thumb drive, pressed and held ok..while turning on the tv and nothing happened… now my tv wont turn back on.. I have unplugged it from the wall over 32 hours..Tv still wont turn on not even the standby light

Solution
Try flashing/updating again
unplug TV from the wall, insert the USB flash drive (fat32 formatted and the unzipped *.bin and *.txt files on it)
press continuously the OK button on the remote (don´t press any other button)
plugin the power cord,
press the OK button till LED flashes, can take about 30 seconds, till the LED comes on, just hold the OK button till then

Just to be sure:

Are you sure the power cable is tightly connected to the back of the TV?
Does the power socket still deliver power?

Did you download the Update files from philips directly?

If...
did you unplug the USB flash drive?

Which firmware version did you try to install?

unplug the TV from the wall again, press the power button on the TV for about 15seconds. Wait another 2minutes and plugin the power cord again.

If this won´t work, either the ROM of your TV is fried or the TV might have a problem with its power supply (blown capacitors over time)
