Phillip speaker for Yamaha

Can I connect my Yamaha Rx V675 AV receiver with Phillips HTS 5520/94 speakers? Impedances are matching. Any body can help me on this please?

I don't see why not.

The satellite speakers will work OK but you can't connect the subwoofer directly to the Yamaha because it doesn't have an amp built in for the subwoofer like the receiver that came with the Philips HTiB. You would have to add one or you might be able to hook the sub out of the Yamaha to an analog input on the Philips and use it as the sub amp.
