Phillips TV messing with game sound for PS4

So I bought a new Phillips 55 inch 4k smart TV and so far I haven't had any problems with it except when I play games on my PS4 while using my headset. First of all I have to change my Output to Headphones setting to All Audio in order to get game audio through my headphones along with chat audio (although this doesn't really bother me too much I didn't have to do this with my previous TV . I just left the setting on Chat Audio and still got game audio as well). Secondly, after I've changed the setting and started playing a game the game audio stutters or cuts out or gets choppy etc. etc. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I totally forgot that the PS4 controller had a jack. That fixed the audio problem. Thank you very much.
