Phillips tv problem

I have a philips tv model 58PFL4609/F7 after its off for a while still plugged in and you go to turn it back on there is no sign of life what so ever. So then if I unplug it from the wall for a while and hold the power button for 10 sec then it powers on no problem. I can watch it for as long as I want. But the next time I try to turn it on there is nothing again until I unplug it from the wall again for a while.
Anyone know why?

That is odd. A bad power supply or relay comes to mind but I would make sure that the TV firmware is up to date before looking into replacing that board.
