Question Phone That I can See Clearly In Daylight

For the past 4-5 years, I have been plagued with the OnePlus 6T that you can barely make out in direct sunlight. So, with that said I want to upgrade to a brand, (looking well under 1k) where I can see my phone clearly in direct sunlight. Suggestions/Ideas?

I have a Pixel 7 Pro that serves me well, even outside. Never an issue from that perspective.

The OnePlus 12 seems to have an impossibly bright display lumens rating, so that's my suggestion.
