phone won't get off main screen

I baught my sky phone 2 weeks ago never had a problom until 2 hours ago it shut off on me I have a full battery took out my battery then it t urrned on but now on the main screen it has wrong date and time and I can't unlock my phone with my pattern lock I'm using the right pattern it doesn't say wrong pattern it just keeps putting me back too the main screen please help me fix this

If it is that new, I would return it and have it replaced with a working one. No new device should give you problems.
