Solved! Phone wont power up

I have an LG escape 2 and out of nowhere it just froze and switched off. Then it would say apps updating or get stuck on the battery charge screen and switch off. It wont power up at all now and does not come up on my PC with the USB port. I put a new battery in and had a new charging port put in but no luck. Is there a way I can get my photos off of there? Would a memory card work?

If it won't start up, and the images weren't backed up somewhere like a SD card, google account, computer, etc., then there is no way to get them. Not without getting the device working again.
