Photo recovery wont open

I deleted photos from my Nikon D7100. I used Wondershare photo recovery to pull photos from the SD card. It shows me the photos/ files in the preview and I selected them to recover. I saved them to a thumb drive and to my computer. However it wont let me open the files? What do I do now?

You may need to convert them to actual image files. Some of those recovery programs alter them. Also, the program may require any files recovered through it be accessed through it, unless the software is paid for. Very common.

I would check on those first.

What format are the files in? Raw would probably need your camera raw driver I believe.

if you have the fee version you might not be able to get the picture to open check you may need the paid version for this
