photos from Android will show on Acer laptop but on Toshiba labtop will only show a few photos

I have an HTM 9503 Android cell phone, an old Acer Mini PC, and a new Toshiba Satellite Ultra book.
Why is it that I can see all my photos on my cell phone on my Acer, but on my Toshiba I can only see a few of the photos, by far not all of them.
Does anyone know how to remedy this problem? Thank you.
There is no SD card in my cell phone.
I changed the cable, same difference.

Did you go into where the photos are on the phone? E.g. my computer etc. If so then you could change what the computer is seeing it as, e.g the drop down where it says "connected as a media device" and change it from there? And if that doesnt work go into about phone, click on baseband lots. Go back, developer mode, turn on usb debugging. Give those a try
