Photoshop 7 wont launch

I had Photosshop 7 on my computer for about 4 to 5 yrs, about 2 months ago, my computer was infected with a virus, i brought Norton and it took care of the virus.

sometime later i tried to used Photoshop and it would load but i couldnt use it and it gave me some kind of messge. so i thought if i deleted it off of my computer and reinstall it, that it would load back on my computer but it didnt work.

and i remember the error message saying something about .lid

so can anybody help me

You need to try a complete re-install.. The associated registry entries might be still present causing the app to not load properly.. Use revo uninstaller to completely uninstall the software from your PC.. Then install it back again..

the computer will read the disk but it will not let me access the entire disk, to load the program from off of the disk, its like th computer doesnt recognize it anymore...so what could i do about that and if you do reply,

Boot into safe mode with networking (usually F8 on startup). Download, install, and update malwarebytes. Do a full system scan.

Download and run combofix.
http/www.combofix.org/

Download ccleaner, and run the registry tool.
http/www.piriform.com/ccleaner

While still in safe mode with networking, try installing photoshop.
