Picture in Picture problems

Hello, I just got a HDTV 30inch sanyo from Wal-mart. I have direct tv
with HD TV serivce.

The problem I have when I use picture in picture it comes up. Showing
the picture on one side of the window and the next window side it says
"No signal" and I can't change to view any channels

any advice would be great

I was reading about that $747 set on the Sanyo Web site....

For Pic and Pic you need two tuners and Two different

video inputs. One input must be from the Digital

tuner and other input must be from the Analog tuner...

I'm guessing the Analog tuner input is the Roof top

RF that picks up the local analog OTA TV stations.

IF you do not have the RF Analog port input attached,

you might need a TV signal splitter (non gold)

to feed the 2nd Tuner input.....

I'm assuming you have the HD Digital port wired/

attached with a RG-6 cable from the 'Dish source'.


The more expensive HDTVs have two Analog Tuners &

the Digital tuner/Box to give more Pic & Pic flexibility.
