Here in Columbus, Ohio I get a strong digital signal on all OTA DTV
stations. On one channel (53) I get a picture, but absolutely no sound,
no matter what I do. Their analog picture and sound are OK.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

What set top box or HDTV are you using? What type of sound output is is
set for, and are you using analog or digital sound output? If you get a
lock on a channel, you should get sound. Although, some digitally
broadcast SD channels sometimes have strange sound (mono sound out of one
side?).

Like I say, all other channels are OK. Just this one has no sound.

Yes, I had the 'No Sound' Problem on a new WB digital channel

in GBay about 1 year ago when the DTV station went Digital...

I had good SD Picture & no Sound......

After experimenting... I could get OTA Sound by using the
MTS button the the T-151 OTA remote....

I called the DTV station Engr who were all new to the equipment..

After 10 days and after the Digital Tech went to 'equipment Training'
the prob was fixed at the Digital TV Studio.....

That Same station goes HD this June... Making all 7 major
Networks OTA HD & Full Power in GBay....

Thanks for the info.

So, the commonality is that the channel I am having trouble with is also
a WB channel.

I don't think my OTA has an MTS setting but I'll try setting the TV for
that.

Then I'll contact the station.

Again, thanks for the response.
