Pioneer receiver won\'t output sound from my CD Player

My Pioneer VSX 53 will not output sound to my Samsung Sound Bar. I have set my HDMI Setting in the audio section of the receiver to AMP. I have also set my sound bar to analog and pushed the CD on my control paddle.

Any thoughts?

The music is primarily left right, not center channel.
Center channel is for voices, etc...
The sound bar is center channel?
Surround sound is encoded. To make all the speakers work, you need to use surround sound media. Normal left right stereo may not make all the speakers function...
