pioneer vsx-423-k right channel issue

no matter what setting i try to change, my pioneer vsx 423 k system wont output music properly through the right channel (when i test them they all work fine) but when i plug my computer through hdmi to the receiver and the receiver to my panasonic tv (sound is output from tv to receiver via pl to a/v), the front right and surround right wont output any sound, i tried other settings and they did play music, but at a minimal level compared to the left channel, i just want them to work evenly and get my sound quality back...
