Pioneer Vsx-s500 only works on pure direct

Hi all,

Got a problem with my PIONEER VSX-S500 there is no sounds on any of the speakers and only works on pure direct. I've swapped the front speakers with the rears and disconnected the centre and sub. Still no sound other than pure direct. I've reset the system by holding input select and BD button. No joy.at all

When you use the pure direct mode you are bypassing some circuits in the receiver. If those are broken you won't get any sound.
Did you go through the receiver set up after you reset it? You might need to do that.
