Piriform Speccy misleading?

The program seems semi-accurate, It's just lets say I'm playing a game and Alt-Tab. It'll show like 100C, which is normal that's what my laptop with overheating problems runs at, but then like 10 seconds later It'll drop down to 80C. I mean, sometimes it is accurate. It's just also that when it says 100C at times, always after Alt-Tabbing out of a game, I feel the bottom of my computer (the GPU is the one experiencing this) where the GPU is, and It's warm. Not hot.

So is this program misleading or something. Thanks.
