Playing games on my laptop.

Hey ,i have an hp pavillion ,with core i7 6700 and 16 gb ram and a gtx 960m 4gb ddr5.can i still play games on 1080p on high settings in 2018 games or i should get another one?

That will depend solely on the game developers and if they want users to enjoy gaming on 1080p. In the very least you can play the latest games with reduced eye candy/details. Worst case scenario, you're going to have to drop your resolution from 1080p to 720p gaming.

There is no way to know for certain if it will continue to play games the way you like. Keep using the laptop until you come across games it won't play satisfactorily. When it no longer plays games as well as you would like. Replace it.
