Question PlayOn playback on Roku 3

Suddenly, last Tuesday, my Roku 3 will no longer play sideloaded videos via PlayOn/My Media. It worked fine for four years and now...the playback aborts as soon as the vid is "retrieved." Roku does not offer customer support for this model and the online support is damn near useless.

PlayOn customer support said it may have something to do with a recent Roku 3 update. But I still don't know how rectify the situation.

Ideas, anyone?

update the roku 3 and reinstall playon

unplug power, wait for 2minutes, press and release the power button on the device, replug power and try again

Internet is working fine?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it out, but no change.

It seems, in fact, that it was Roku's update of its software that caused this problem.
