Tried it a while ago. It's annoying to chat with people using a controler.

The PS3 also supports USB and BT keyboards - far less annoying. I'd have hope, though, after 2 years there would be more capability and less virtual stuff. About all you can do is stand around, dance, and chat sans a few minigames that are mostly lame. Hope the features and capabilities improve as well.
