PLEASE help- Headset Microphone problems

Hello there. I got a brand new microphone today and when I did a mic test it was ALL static when I spoke. How do I fix this problem? This is the microphone brand.

Make sure your audio panel speakers configuration is set proper so that your mic jack isnt being used as a speaker output.
