Please help! I can't get my Acer V3-111 laptop to display a full screen imagine using a HDMI cable onto a Samsung tv. It use to work with no problems on a different tv but when I tried it on this tv I get a large black border all around the edge reducing the displayed image significantly. I have looked at many fix suggestions and the one that seems to work for everyone else is to re-scale the image but that option does not appear and I don't know why

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by checking the settings of your TV if you can change the aspect ratio of your TV use that to make the screen bigger.
- If it doesn't work try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics driver.
- Once done, check Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do test your laptop again using your external monitor.
