Please help me choose! 2GHz Core i7 with 2GB AMD Radeon R5 M230 or 1.7 GHz Core i5 with 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M

Hi Guys,

I have zeroed in on two laptops, but can't decide which one to go for:

1. 2GHz Core i7 with 2GB AMD Radeon R5 M230
2. 1.7 GHz Core i5 with 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M

Please suggest me which one would be better in terms of performance.

Depends on what you're using it for. For gaming, the 840m is much better than the m230, but for most other things, the CPU will make more of a difference. Though the i5 is still a good CPU.

Basically, if you're gaming, go with the second option. If not, get the first one.
