Hi i am a gamer and will use laptop in my college too for some slides and presentations.
I play all fps games like battlefield and overwatch.

Below is the link of laptop comparisons.

I have chosen msi gp63 because of i7 8th gen processor and 120hz pannel as well as dual channel ram.

But it is 15.6 inch without gsync and without thunderbolt 3 support.

I want a gaming lappy for 3 year span. Your help is appreciated.

That is a pretty good laptop that should not have any problems gaming for the next 3 years. You could go with the more expensive G9, but you will lose cores. The 8th gen CPU has 2 more cores and 4 more threads. That really does not matter much for gaming today, but maybe in a couple of years it may have an impact, but doubtful.

I really don't think gsync is too important with a 1080p/120hz screen and a 1070 pushing it. Screen tearing is not really noticeable at higher framerates, which you are sure to get. It is when fps drops below 60 is where gsync shines.

If it were me, I would go with the gp63.
