Please help

Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung UE46B7000 that the picture was perfect, but i went back home to Japan for holidays and when i come back my nephew manage to go to the service menu and did a factory reset.
When i came back to UK the picture was/is not good...The picture is very dark and no matter what i do it stays dark
I have spent many days researching but no avail.
Can someone with the same TV help me get the service menu setting back? please i really need this.

once you do a factory reset you normally lose all of your settings.

you will need to go back and change all of your settings again.

some televisions have different display modes such as cinema, game, etcetera which he could have changed. in this case perhaps he did not do a reset and you can just change the mode.

take a look at your backlight %, contrast, and other settings after you checked the above. if the backlight/brightness is very low then everything will be very dark.

also check that he did not adjust levels on the input device (ps3, pc, dvd player, etc) instead of the tv. some devices include their own settings.
