Dear Friends,

I am looking to purchase a budget laptop from Dell under Rs 25,000 Indian Rupee. My requirement are basic. I use laptop for internet surfing, Microsoft Word, Foxit Reader and to watch videos.

My current laptop Lenovo G500 has Intel Pentium B960 processor with 4 GB Ram. It has been more than enough for me. I am changing it because over the last 4 years I faced frequent hardware issues with it.

I have couple of laptops in mind but since I have little experience of purchasing laptop, I seek your help. Here are the models I am thinking.

1. Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Pentium Quad Core - (4 GB/500 GB HDD/Windows 10 Home) 3552 Laptop (15.6 inch, Black) - Rs 21,990

2. Dell Inspiron 15 3565 (A6-9200 (7th gen)/4GB RAM/1TBGB HDD/39.62 cm (15.6)/Integrated graphics with AMD APU/Windows 10) (Black) - Rs 26,000

3. Dell Inspiron 15 3552 (Pentium Dual Core/4 GB/1 TB/39.6 cm (15.6'')/Windows 10) Black - Rs 23,000

Please suggest which laptop should I go for. Feel free to add any laptop of your choice. I would appreciate any suggestion in this regard.

Is there some specific reason it has to be a Dell?

Asus...
Without links to the specific computers in question. We have no way of knowing exactly which Intel CPUs the Intel models contain. There are a lot of Pentium Quad Core and Dual Core models.

Everything I find for the Inspiron 3552 dual core says Celeron not Pentium. All Pentium options I find are Quad Core.

Thanks for answer. I am thinking of Dell because everyone around suggests that they have the best laptop. My last laptop was from Lenovo and it gave me hell with all the hardware issues.

When I ask people around everyone suggest that Dell laptop will last longer. Even engineer who fixes my laptop some time back also suggested the same. While I like your suggestion of Asus, I am not sure if it's durable.
