Polk Magnifi Center Channel

How do you get the correct audio to the center channel on Polk Magnifi if you connect it to your TV? Most TVs only output in stereo to the optical out.

The soundbar takes care of that. Just set the TV audio output to 5.1.

I don't know of any TVs that pass 5.1 audio from HDMI inputs to the optical out. Mine only passes stereo. I guess I'll have to connect the soundbar directly to the device (xbox).
