Alarm went off couldn't slide to turn off screen frozen

Try turning it off and back on. If you can't get it to turn off, then you may well have to wait until it runs out of power, charge it only a small amount and try turning it back on.

NOTE: Leaving many apps active/open, even if you aren't using them at present, can really take up resources and cause that problem.
