Power converter for US laptop in the UK

I recently moved to the UK and brought my US purchased sager np7330 with me. So far I havent used it because I wanted to double check is I could use these adapters and not fry my laptop.

I purchased these two converters:

Is it safe for me to use either of these for my laptop? I understand the electricity here is double the amount of the US, hence my precaution.

Those are not actual power converters, they are simply plug / outlet adapters.

Power converts either step-up or step-down the voltage for "foreign" devices so that they can function properly. The adapters you bought simply allows you to to plug "foreign" devices into UK outlets.

As far as I am aware, all laptop are shipped with universal power bricks which can be used in any country. As long as the power brick states "120v/240v" then you should be fine using one of those adapters since that implies it is universal.

I just checked the power brick and it does state 100-240v. Thank you very much for your input, now i understand this an know i wont harm my system.

Since he helped you I suggest you pick his post as the best solution; also, if you're still scared you could get a worldwide converter or w/e.
