Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545.
Everything is working fine and as normal. Boots up, charging is fine, no issues on the screen.
However the white power LED on the front edge of the laptop intermittently flickers between fully bright and faded dim. Only between these two. It never goes completely off.
There's no pattern to the flickering, it might remain at one or the other for a matter of minutes before rapidly flickering between the two several times, then settling again. Almost like a bad light bulb but LEDs should be different.
I've searched around and seen other questions related to the power light but this seems to be a very unusual iteration of the issue. Any advice would be much appreciated.
