Is there a good PowerPoint projector with internal scaling that can accept a 1920 x 1080 HDMI signal? It does not need to be 1920 x 1080, it just needs to accept a 1920 x 1080 signal without force-resizing my laptop screen. Budget is not unlimited.

I need to hook it up to some other HDMI equipment, and I need to make sure it does not resize the laptop screen (like my existing VGA PowerPoint projector does). Thanks.

Since 1920x1080 is the native resolution of any 1080p high def projector your choices are pretty open ended. I would also expect any projector with HDMI to be able to accept 1080p and scale it down or up.

For any word, excel or PowerPoint presentations, I will suggest to go for DLP projector only. Also you can look for good DLP + LED projector, which will also give you wings of mobility as this projectors are about palm size. You can check Luxcine Z2000SD on ebay or google or youtube. They have two hdmi, and have support for both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ration to choose from. Luxcine have support till 4k resolution.
