I'm a little annoyed with the vetting put into one of these products.

I was very intrigued by the "savings" of the mregb "Power-Bank-Solar-Charger". When I looked deeper and used an actual tool that showed the discounts over time, I found that none of the individual products had the discount that was mentioned.

The discount mentioned was "was $299 now $28", however individually, none of the products have seen a swing like that.

The max price in the past year of each product was as follows:
Black model ($59.99)
Orange model ($79.99)
Green model ($299.99)

Furthermore, the green model has no price changes in the past year.

Why was this noted as a discount? This was the first product from your lists that I've actually investigated in detail. What is the process in place to identify these deals? I'm looking to have confidence in the sale being mentioned.

Hey @seanmcnamee
When I first spotted the deal, Amazon was showing the original price as $299, which seemed like a typo. However, a price checking tool I use called Camelizer was showing $299 as the original price as well. Even if the price may have been inflated, Camelizer was showing that the $32 sale price was indeed its lowest price ever (which is one of the reasons I included the deal). Unfortunately, right now Camelizer isn't showing any price tracking for this charger (other than 3rd party).
