Problem with Acer aspire 4743

Hello,
I started my Acer aspire 4743 Windows 7 (64 bit) installed (I bought it a few years ago). But a few moment after start up there's a pop up message that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working " there's also a option to restart the Windows Explorer. I restarted Windows Explorer but it stopped again and again and ask me to restart Windows Explorer .
Now what can I do by myself?

try a system restore to before this problem started. also reset internet explorer in internet options in control panel under the advanced tab.
