Problem with Asus ROG G751JS USB port losing connection with device

Front left USB 3.0 port on new Asus ROG G751JS sporadically loses connection with and can no longer identify the attached WD Passport. Passport works fine attached to all of the remaining three USB 3.0 ports. Anyone experiencing this or what may be causing it?

I rearranged devices plugged into ports and Microsoft issues major monthly updates. Not sure what did it, but everything now seems fine. Go figure....
