Question Problem with laptop adapter charger

I'm trying to find a replacement for my LG gram laptop adapter/charger. This morning, with the power strip turned off overnight and my laptop shut down, the charger was pretty warm, actually a little hot, to touch. I had to press the laptop power on button for a long time for it eventually to boot up. After that, working on my laptop the charger was fine, only very mildly warm. I do emails and read websites, so low usage.

But I think it is time to replace the 2-year old charger. One from LG is a crazy $125 and not available now, says in a month (Maybe).

The Targus charger APA104BT is 65W. But only 60W is used to charge a laptop. That the extra 5W is to charge a second device. I read a lot that says to never use a charger that is less than the laptop requirement. My LG gram laptop is 65W. So it appears that this is not a good match for me. What do you say?
