Solved! problems with aerial and smart TV

I,'e just bought a 55 inch Toshiba Smart TV with freeview but I'm having problems with the aerial. i used to have sky and cancelled my subscription and now i have the two leads (aerials?) coming out of a box on the wall. My TV only has one socket and I don't know what to do. I'm not very tech minded so please any answers make it easy for me to understand, !!! thanks

Connect one of the wall connections to the TV and follow the instructions for setting freeview up. If it doesn't work then repeat using the other wall connection. If neither works you may have to use an indoor aerial or, if you can, install the correct aerial outside.
You can't damage anything.
