i want to connect my bookshelf speakers to my pc. i have bought a t-amp that has
Output power: 25WX2+45WX1 RMS
and my bookshelf speakers i think they are 5 watt each as i see in thiis pic ( http://prnt.sc/b0l14m )
but the bookshelf speaakers are taken from the panasonic sa-pm3 stereo system and as i see in the back of it it has 30watt in total ( http://prnt.sc/b0l20p )
why it says 30W if the speakers are only 5W each?
anyway, if i want to use the two speakers, from my little knowledge i think that i cant use this t-amp with these speakers cause if the pick is 25watt it may/will destroy the speakers wich are only 5watt max...
am i right or wrong? will i be able to use these speakers to my pc with this t-amp i bought?

It will be fine, just be easy with the volume control.

As to why the stereo is rated at 30-watts if it only has 5-watt speakers: the 30 watts in an input power rating, not an output power rating, that 30-watts powers both amplifiers (both channels) and the other electronics (tape/cd players). And, of course, amplifiers aren't all that efficient so some of that 30 watts ends up as heat.
