Problems with olympus cameras

Hello, I have an olympus FE-340. When I press the power button the lens goes in and out a few times then the camera shuts off.
Please help

Assuming the battery is okay, I think you'll have to go back to the dealer on this one.

I guess it's at best a couple of years old. So if the dealer starts talking about the warranty being expired point out that the warranty is in addition to normal consumer rights, not instead of and a camera is something you expect to last, say, a decade.
