Hi guys, i was wondering how i can reprogram some of the keys on my keyboard or mouse. I am trying to make the key F8 easier to reach when i am playing fps games. So is there any way i can move F8 to one of my mouse or keyboard buttons? There is only 3 buttons on my mouse and it didnt come with any software. ( left button, right button, and scroll button. i have a DPI changing button but it didnt count as one.) So if any one have any idea, that would be great.

It's often easier to make changes in the game options than to do the changes in the OS or hardware utility programs since that can change the function for all other programs as well.

theoretically you could create a keyboard driver that does that but I guess that, for windows, there are some key swapping program to do that.

Doing a quick search on google, I found those:

http://www.inchwest.com/mapkeyboard.aspx

and a good explanation here:

Apparently you can do it with a reg. tweak
