Projector audio output issue

Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue I'm not sure how to resolve : I hooked up my Xbox on my projector with the components cable (until I get an hdmi) but since the projector has small speakers built in, I decided to plug in a set of speakers on the projector audio output.

The issue is that there's no sound coming from the speakers. If I unplug the speakers, the sound comes off the projector built in speakers, if I plug headphones in the projector audio output (where I plugged the speakers) I get audio from the headphones. If I hook up the speakers on my computers, they work fine. For some reason, the don't seem to give any sound from the projector.

Any thoughts?

If the speakers you connected are not self powered the output of the projector may not be powerful enough to drive them.
